(First post of this travelogue)<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nI have traveled to Ontario to teach a Mechanical Drives and<br \/>\nShaft Alignment class.&nbsp; This is what is<br \/>\ncalled a \u201cregional\u201d class where folks from various companies attend the class<br \/>\nin a hotel.&nbsp; NTT also offers \u201cOn Site\u201d<br \/>\nclasses where we teach at the customers business location.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nThis class was held at the Holiday Inn Express <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Holiday+Inn+Express+%26+Suites+Ontario+Airport\/@34.0310842,-117.5789218,15z\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0000000000000000:0xdbbfaeb7f41fb2b4\">(here)<\/a>.&nbsp; The class only<br \/>\nhad four students, but that made for a great group.&nbsp; <\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nI had NTT make plane reservations so that I could stay over<br \/>\nSaturday and attend one day of the National Drag Racing event in Pomona.&nbsp; When I was the \u201cBlower Belt guy\u201d at Gates, I<br \/>\nattended quite a few races at this rather historic track.&nbsp; I had hoped to see several old friends, but<br \/>\nthe pits were very hectic.&nbsp; I did get to<br \/>\nbriefly say hi to a good friend who is also a major Gates customer.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nFriday after class, I decided to visit the NHRA museum.&nbsp; It is not a huge museum, but they have a significant<br \/>\nnumber of historic race cars.&nbsp; Many of<br \/>\nthose cars were racing when I first got interested in drag racing (over 50<br \/>\nyears ago).&nbsp; Lots of fun memories.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nThe weather has been pretty decent \u2013 mostly 70s during the<br \/>\nday.&nbsp; Unfortunately, I left Pat in the<br \/>\nmiddle of a record setting cold spell in Denver.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nTomorrow I catch a very early flight (6:05 AM) back to<br \/>\nDenver.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nThat is all for this trip.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello from Ontario, CA Saturday &nbsp;evening, &nbsp;November 15, 2014&nbsp;&nbsp;
