(First post of this travelogue)\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\tFirst of all, I wanted to let folks know that I (we) are<br \/>\n\tstill alive and kicking.&nbsp; This blog is<br \/>\n\tpredominately a travelogue and we have not traveled since November of last<br \/>\n\tyear.&nbsp; We are really anxious to get the<br \/>\n\tbus wheels turning and will do so next month.&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\tThis trip, I have traveled to Washington to teach Mechanical<br \/>\n\tDrives and Shaft Alignment classes at Boeing in Auburn WA.&nbsp; &nbsp;I am<br \/>\n\tstaying at the Holiday Inn Express <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/47%C2%B014%2703.8%22N+122%C2%B014%2755.3%22W\/@47.2344,-122.2487,493m\/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x0\">(map)<\/a>.&nbsp; From my hotel, I get a beautiful view of Mt.<br \/>\n\tRainier (see photo).&nbsp; It is unbelievable<br \/>\n\thow majestic that mountain is!\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/beltguy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Mt-Whitney-in-Afternoon-1024x643.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"201\" src=\"http:\/\/beltguy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Mt-Whitney-in-Afternoon-1024x643.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\tThese classes are debuting new hands-on training units.&nbsp; They are significant improvements over our<br \/>\n\told equipment.&nbsp; That said, we anticipated<br \/>\n\t&ldquo;teething problems&rdquo; and we have encountered quite a few.&nbsp; The manager of my NTT group traveled with me<br \/>\n\tand we have worked together to resolve the mostly minor issues.\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\tI am teaching the second shift (2:30 &ndash; 11:00).&nbsp; I rather enjoy that shift, as it gives me all<br \/>\n\tof the morning and part of the afternoon to catch up on some computer projects.&nbsp; Probably the only drawback is that I have to<br \/>\n\ttravel home on Saturday.\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\tMy assignments at NTT have been rather sparse in the past<br \/>\n\tyear.&nbsp; That is a mixed bag.&nbsp; I have really enjoyed being home and working<br \/>\n\ton my car projects, but the hobby\/travel fund has taken a big hit.&nbsp; I have been offered quite a few classes for<br \/>\n\tthe second half of this year, but they are public classes, subject to<br \/>\n\tcancellation if they don&rsquo;t get the minimum number of registrations.&nbsp; I was scheduled to do a few the first half of<br \/>\n\tthis year and none of them met the minimum registration goal.\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\tAs I write this, I have been communicating with Pat and we<br \/>\n\thave over 20 inches of snow at the house and it is still snowing hard (see photo).&nbsp; The weather here has been a bit chilly and<br \/>\n\tthere has been some rain, but that is a whole lot better than what is happening<br \/>\n\tin Evergreen!<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t&nbsp;\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t&nbsp;\n\t<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;
