\nFriday evening ,

\ntravelogue of this trip).<\/div>\n

\nWe are in Pendleton Oregon at the Holiday Inn Express (map)<\/a>.  We have started our drive home.  We are trying to schedule the travel so that
\nwe can arrive in Gunnison, CO at a time that will work with our grandsons\u2019 college
\nschedules.  Today we left Kent and drove
\non I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass.  At times
\nit was snowing, but it did not stick to the road.  We had hoped to stay at a casino close to
\nhere, but they were booked full (weekend).<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nLast week I started my certification to teach another class
\nat Boeing (Machine Tool Position and Accuracy). 
\nIt is the final class in a series on \u201claying out\u201d multi-axes machining
\ncenters (checking\/correcting all mechanical components that affect machine
\naccuracy).  That class was held the first
\nfour days of this week on the first shift (6:00AM \u2013 2:30PM).  <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nIn the last post, I meant to talk about the weather on our
\ntour of the Olympic Peninsula.  On that
\nday, the weather was half way decent. 
\nThat was about the only day that it was not rainy and cold.  We lucked out.  <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nOne day, the clouds cleared a bit and we could see Mt.
\nRainier.  After I got back to the hotel,
\nI got Pat and we drove down towards Auburn and got the picture below.  It really is not a good picture, but it does
\nshow how majestic it is.  It has a
\naltitude of 14,411 ft.  That is about the
\nsame altitude as Pike\u2019s Peak, but Mt Rainier\u2019s base is just a bit above sea
\nlevel.  Mt. Rainier is considered one of
\nthe most dangerous volcanoes in the world. 
\nIt is active and could produce greater devastation than Mt. St. Helens. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
