Hello from Lincoln, NE (Belated)<\/p>\n
Wednesday Evening\u00a0 \u2013 December 8, 2021\u00a0\u00a0 (First post of this travelogue)<\/p>\n
Note 02\/13\/2022:\u00a0 there have been several posts that somehow have not been published.\u00a0 Certainly it could not be a problem with me \u2013 right? {big grin}\u00a0 I think this catches me up.<\/p>\n
Well, I am back in Lincoln to teach another class.\u00a0 I am staying at the Downtown Holiday Inn Express (Google Maps)<\/a>.\u00a0 This is either a new facility or newly remodeled. \u00a0It does not show as a Holiday Inn on the Google Maps.\u00a0 It is a great facility, but they charge $20 per night valet parking.\u00a0 It is very close to my teaching location, so that is a bonus.<\/p>\n {google_map}40.81325, -96.70827{\/google_map}<\/p>\n I have been teaching another two day class (Bearings and Lubrication).\u00a0 I sort of dread a two day class, as it really takes the better part of 4 days when you consider travel time.\u00a0 This is the first time I have flown to an NTT assignment in well over a year.\u00a0 I had a couple of assignments at Boeing in the Seattle area earlier this year, but Pat and I drove to those assignments.<\/p>\n This class went very well.\u00a0\u00a0 The folks seemed to engage well and had good input\/questions.\u00a0 I glanced at my \u201cgrades\u201d and they seemed to be quite good.\u00a0 The class has good content (lecture only), but it is too much material for one day but not enough to fill two days.\u00a0 That could be a problem if the customer thinks they are getting short changed when we finish early.\u00a0 This customer is very understanding and had no problem with completing the course two hours early.<\/p>\n Tomorrow I fly home.\u00a0 In spite of Lincoln being the capitol, the airport is very small and does not have much in the way of amenities.\u00a0 I like to get to the airport early and\u00a0 have a leisurely breakfast, but it looks like the only food vendor may not be open until one hour before my flight.<\/p>\n That is all for this trip.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello from Lincoln, NE (Belated) Wednesday Evening\u00a0 \u2013 December 8, 2021\u00a0\u00a0 (First post of this travelogue) Note 02\/13\/2022:\u00a0 there have been several posts that somehow have not been published.\u00a0 Certainly it could not be a problem with me \u2013 right? … Continue reading
